Best Served: Room Temperature

Nose: Hint of raspberry, hint of blackberry, very fruity tones with a slight earthy tone and the alchohol is bringing out a rich berry purfume like scent.

Flavor: Hint of cherry, spicey, hint of tobacco,  french oak, a hint of cream cheese,  grape skins, a hint of blueberry and a very slight smokiness after airating in the glass.

Additional Notes: Very deep red almost purple.

Additional comments:  Dark burgundy in color.

Nose:  Very earthey, black pepper, spices, antique wood, blueberry skins, cherries, tomato sauce and caramel.

Flavor: Strong oak, black pepper, sharp cheddar, dark chocolate, strong tannins, tomato juice and wild berries.

Additional comments: Deep dark burgundy color

Fun facts: Casillero Del Diablo translates to “Cellar of the Devil”. The story is that Don Melchor de Concha y Toro reserved an exclusive batch of the finest wine and spread the rumor the rumor that “the Devil lived in this place” to keep strangers away.

Nose:  Spicy aroma, Black cherries,  perfume, raisins The oak is pleasant.

Flavor: Very spicy, tannins start out medium and taste stronger the longer it sits on my tongue. Strong earthly tones. Oak is very distinct and pronounced. A flowery characteristic. Black cherries,  finish is very grapey.

Additional comments:  Clear appearance, deep ruby color.

Grapes: N/A Honey fermented with the bark of the Gesho Tree

Best served: Chilled

Nose:  A pleasantly sweet flowery scent, honey, tangerine and mandarin orange.

Flavor: Honey, the Gesho bark leaves a very interesting flavor. Starts out sweet and finishes dryer with a spicy kick that tingles the tongue. The finish reminds me of beer and ginger ale. Second glass reminds me of champagne.

Additional comments:  Crisp, Good Clarity.

Fun facts: Tej is the National drink of Ethiopia.
